Which of your data do we process?
We process the data that you have sent us in connection with your application in order to check your suitability for the position and to carry out the application process. The legal basis for the processing of your personal data in this application procedure is the General Data Protection Regulation in the version valid from Mai 25th 2018. It allows the processing of the data required in connection with the decision to establish an employment relationship.
Who has access to your application data?
After receiving your application, your applicant data will be viewed by EFiS executives. Suitable applications are then forwarded internally to the department heads for the respective open position. Within the company, only those people have access to your data who need it for the proper course of the application procedure. The data will be processed exclusively in the Federal Republic of Germany.
You have the right to be informed about your personal data processed by us. In the case of a request for information which is not made in writing, we ask for your understanding that we may require proof from you that you are the person you claim to be.
Furthermore, you have the right to correct or delete or to restrict the processing, as far as you are legally entitled to do so, as well as the right to object to the processing within the scope of the legal requirement.
How long is the data stored?
In the event of rejection, applicants‘ data will be deleted after 6 months at the latest.
If you have agreed to further storage of your personal data, we will transfer your data to our applicant pool. The data will be deleted after two years at the latest.
If you have been accepted for a job as part of the application procedure, the data from the applicant data system will be transferred to our personnel information system.
